Coach Jim Miller, age 40, was born in Lubbock, Texas where he has spent the majority of his life. He has been married to his wife, Stacy, for sixteen years. Jim and Stacy are extremely proud to be the parents of Claire (8) and Myles (6). Both Jim and Stacy graduated from Texas Tech University. Stacy has been teaching for 14 years and is currently a first grade teacher at Bright Elementary of the Frisco Independent School District. Jim has been teaching for 12 years and spent 9 of those years as a Head Boy’s Basketball coach. Prior to becoming the first Head Boy’s Basketball coach at Liberty High School, Coach Miller enjoyed head coaching stints at Smyer and Lubbock Roosevelt High School. |

Coach Marcus Eckert, age 28, was born in Abilene, Texas and graduated from Baylor University Upon graduation, he started his coaching and teaching career in Mesquite, Texas. Coach Eckert has been teaching for 6 years and has spent the last 4 years in Frisco ISD. Shortly after becoming a Redhawk, Coach Eckert married his beautiful wife Jen, who is currently a 6th grade History teacher at RoachMiddle School. The Eckert’s attend church at Stonebriar Community Church and are involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). They live in Celina with their Golden Retriever, Sadie.

Head freshman basketball coach Devin Lemons is a graduate of Texas Tech University where received his bachelor degree in Exercise & Sports Science. Devin grew up in Pampa, Texas where he played high school football, track and basketball and was a member of the 1996 Pampa team that won the Texas 4A basketball state championship. He lettered 4 years in football at Tech as a defensive end (team captain senior year) and went on to play professionally as a defensive end for the Chicago Bears, Miami Dolphins and the Washington Redskins. He retired from football in 2005 and is in his 4th year of coaching and teaching at Liberty. He has ben married for 10 years to Nicole and they have two sons, Gabriel (10) and Chris (4). |

Coach Ross Elliott Reedy, age 29, graduated from the Austin College University receiving his degree in history. He is currently seeking a degree in educational leadership at Dallas Baptist University After his time at Austin College, Reedy began his teaching and coaching career at Wylie High School. He is now in his sixth year of teaching, the last four being at Liberty High School. Along with basketball, Coach Reedy coaches football and track at Liberty. |
